The Arbutus Room

The Arbutus Room is a casually elegant and evolving dining room located in the beautiful Brentwood Bay Resort on the Saanich Peninsula. In our ongoing partnership here, we’ve been part of reinventing the overall identity and expression, influenced the room and decor, created menus, and have played a deep role in the overall experience design.

SCOPE

Brand creation, expression design, experience auditing and design, colour selection, print collateral design, ad creation and design.

HOMESTYLE GRAPHICS

We created a clean, modern and expressive visual style while maintaining a classic, homestyle feel. Our overall aim was to create more connection to the joys surrounding dining, delicious dishes, and the connection created by real food and ingredients.

FAMILY OF MENUS

Menus pose unique design challenges that we needed to consider carefully. Our approach was to create a collection that works together harmoniously to provide guests with an elevated and connected experience, while addressing the need to keep things fresh, changing, and comprehensive.

BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER

Bringing it all together, our role here continues to extend into all aspects of the dining experience, from helping reimagine and re-create the room to selecting plateware and bringing in live music to the room.
